Pawleys Island

Pawleys Island, SC located between Charleston and Myrtle Beach, is known as one of the oldest summer resorts in America. In the 1700s, it was an escape from the summer mosquitoes but today it is an escape from a hurried, pressure-filled lifestyle to a more gentle, laid-back way of living.
